Jazz is often perceived as a timeless art form, where the quality of the recording relays more information about its age than that of the musical performance. Hence, it often easy to intermix recordings that are decades apart, yet they seem as fresh and new as they were on day one. In this hour, we will explore some recordings that to me have stood the test of time, at least from my perspective of what is a long time.
